Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault are crimes that affect everyone in our community. You can be part of the solution! Stay informed, stay vigilant, make a difference.
CLIENT RELOCATION & DIRECT SERVICE NEEDS
HAVIN receives approximately $7,000 from the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence to pay for a survivor’s first month’s rent and/or security deposit, utilities, transportation to a safe place as well as household items. Last year we helped a total of 21 survivors with relocation expenses, but their needs far exceeded our income. Please consider a monetary donation to assist with this need.

We are so grateful that you thought of HAVIN to donate goods to. Although we aren't able to accept used items at the shelter, your generous donations of new supplies makes such a difference in the lives of survivors.
The best way to donate is to first contact our Shelter Supervisor, Ami Akins, at aakins@havinpa.org to see what our current needs are. Shelter needs change from month to month, so contacting us first will ensure that your donation will be used by our shelter guests.
